General Sardar Gurmukh Singh Lamba.

In Auguest 1847,Sardar General Gurmukh Singh Lamba was appointed with Sardar Bur Singh of Mukerian to thake charge of Maharani Jindan/Jinda Kaur to confine her in the fort of Sheikhu Pura Sardar discern difficult task with fairness and discretion till the out break of Multan disturbances.
 In 1850,the Jagir's of the sardar was released ,as commissioned by Maharaja Ranjit Singh . It is said,that When Maharaja was on deat bed, he realised his mistake to be un fair to the Sardar who was always sencere to Sarkar Kkalsa. Doraa Raja's Main brother Raja Gulab and Dhain Singh having influnce over the Maharaja always mis lead him. Their father Main Kishora Singh was defeated by the sardar In this caption great characteristic quality of the Maharaja was highlighted,even being on death bed he was concerened about the welfare of his men.
